Excursion to the mountainous region of Kazbegi.

Day 4.

Day 5.

Arrival to Akhaltsikhe (the old name Lomsa), is the administrative center of the region of Samtskhe-Javakheti and the Akhaltsikhe district. The city is located in a hollow of Akhaltsikhe, on river banks Potskhovi, at the height of 1000 m over sea level.

Day 7.

09:00 - We leave to the reserve Sataplia. There you will find the amazing beauty of nature. The absolute height of the caves varies from 275 to 405 meters. Rich as etetically, as well as species of flora and fauna. In the adjoining territory there is a colchic forest with relict and endemic plants, as well as traces of dinosaurs.
Further we will go to the reserve of Prometheus. The tour is conducted by boat. You will see a waterfall, underwater rivers and a lot of beautiful views. Approximate height of just over a kilometer, the temperature here constantly keeps at a level of 15 degrees.

Let's go to western Georgia. There we will see the Inguri dam, which is located at an altitude of 274 m above sea level. This is the largest dam in the Caucasus, the second in Europe. The location is perfect for photos, because there is a chic landscape. The next point of our trip will be Mestia, which is one of the highest residential places in Europe (1500 m above sea level).
Dinner and night you will spend in Mestia.

Day 8.

10:00 - On special cars we go to Ushguli. Ushguli is the highest settlement in Europe (2,200 m above sea level). The architectural ensemble of Ushguli is a valuable architectural and historical monument, thanks in large part to which Upper Svaneti was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. In the village traditional Svan houses-towers were preserved. On the hill next to the village of Zhibiani is the Church of Our Lady (in Svanjska Lamaria), built in the XI century. You will never forget that nature and the view that opens from Ushguli.

Return to Mestia. Dinner and night you will spend in Mestia.

Day 9.
