Day 1.

Arrival in Tbilisi , Transfer in Hotel.

And now it is a little about the capital. Tbilisi - Ancient Tiflis on coast of the Mtkvari, the capital of Georgia, it’s a cultural, economical and political center, and madly interesting and many-sided city. Tbilisi in Georgian means "warm". Tbilisi has been founded on hot sulfuric springs. On a legend which locals so like to tell once the king Vakhtang Gorgasali has gone to falconry, his bird has rushed for a pheasant, trying to escape in a reservoir, and both have immediately cooked in a hot spring. The inconsolable tsar has decided to immortalize roofing felts in the history of a favourite falcon, roofing felts was impressed with the rising fetid steam, but Tbilisi has arisen exactly here. Today terracotta domes of baths adjoin to modern business centers, but over all this the spirit of old Tbilisi still soars.

City-Tour across Tbilisi

First of all we are going to see Sameba. The Holy Trinity Cathedral of Tbilisi commonly known as Sameba is the main cathedral of the Georgian Orthodox Church located in Tbilisi. Constructed between 1995 and 2004, it is the third-tallest Eastern Orthodox cathedral in the world and one of the largest religious buildings in the world by total area.

Further transition to a monument to the founder of the city of Tbilisi great Georgian governor Vakhtang Gorgasali. Gorgasali is a nickname, so the king was called in the war (Du Raz Gorgasali) and means "be more careful with the person, with the head of a wolf".

Metekhi is a historic neighborhood of Tbilisi, Georgia, located on the elevated cliff that overlooks the Mtkvari river. The neighborhood is home to the eponymous Metekhi Church of Assumption.

Soon we will see beautiful narikala, Which is an ancient fortress overlooking Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, and the Kura River. The fortress consists of two walled sections on a steep hill between the sulphur baths and the botanical gardens of Tbilisi. On the lower court there is the recently restored St Nicholas church.

You will have an opportunity to feel old Tiflis's color. Ancient sulfuric baths are in the most ancient place of the city. All bathing rooms, lower than the level of the earth are also blocked by the semicircular arches.

The Sioni Cathedral of the Dormition is a Georgian Orthodox cathedral in Tbilisi,. Following a medieval Georgian tradition of naming churches after particular places in the Holy Land, the Sioni Cathedral bears the name of Mount Zion at Jerusalem. It is commonly known as the "Tbilisi Sioni" to distinguish it from several other churches across Georgia bearing the name Sioni.

Day 3.

Excursion to the ancient capital of Georgia – Mtskheta and mountainous area Kazbegi.

Mtskheta is a city in Mtskheta-Mtianeti province of Georgia. One of the oldest cities of Georgia. Due to its historical significance and several cultural monuments, the "Historical Monuments of Mtskheta" became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1994. As the birthplace and one of the most vibrant centers of Christianity in Georgia, Mtskheta was declared as the "Holy City" by the Georgian Orthodox Church in 2014.

Next is Jvari Monastery which is a sixth century Georgian Orthodox monastery. Along with other historic structures of Mtskheta, it is listed as a World Heritage site by UNESCO. there you can see the amazing view of Mtsketa .

Further we go in the Stepantsminda direction. On the road we will examine the picturesque fortress of Ananuri (XVI in) located over the Aragvi River and also tremendous beauty the Zhinvaly Reservoir. Passing Gudauri ski resort (2200 meters above sea level), the stunning trip along the river Tergi, through the cross pass (2400 meters above sea-level) will bring us into Stepantsminda in mountains Kazbegi.

Visit of Church of a blessed Trinity Gergeti (2170 meters above sea-level). At a clear weather the tremendous, phantasmagoric view of one of the highest tops of Georgia – Mount Mkinvarwveri opens (5147 meters above sea-level). We will reach church by means of special cars.

Return to Tbilisi. Night in hotel.

Day 4.

Today we go to the homeland of wine and winemaking – Kakheti.

Kakheti is a region (Georgian: Mkhare) formed in the 1990s in eastern Georgia from the historical province of Kakheti and the small, mountainous province of Tusheti.the best-known Georgian wine regions are Kakheti. UNESCO added the ancient traditional Georgian winemaking method using the Kvevri clay jars to the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage Lists. In kakheti you can taste many variety of wine.

On the way to Signakhi, visit of convent of Bodbe – a monastic and episcopal complex of Saint Georgy. Great shrine of Georgia. Here you can make a wish, having laid a hand on Saint Nino's grave, and your desire will by all means be granted.

Signagi serves as a popular tourist destination due to its location at the heart of Georgia's wine-growing regions, as well as its picturesque landscapes, pastel houses and narrow, cobblestone streets. Located on a steep hill, Signagi overlooks the vast Alazani Valley, with the Caucasus Mountains visible at a distance. Signagi has the second name – city of love.

Visit of the wine museum in Kvareli, where you will get acquainted with traditional Georgian methods of winemaking, tasting of wine.

Return to Tbilisi and dinner at national restaurant where you can taste the most tasty dishes and sound Georgian wine. Night in hotel.

Day 5.

Today we will go to Borjomi The town is famous for its mineral water industry.  Borjomi mineral water is particularly well known in those countries which were part of the former Soviet Union;

And also we will visit the Haragauli park where directly from sources we will try medical Borjomi water.

Arrival in Akhaltsikhe (the old name Lomsa), is the administrative center of the region of Samtskhe-Javakheti and the Akhaltsikhe district. The city is located in a hollow of Akhaltsikhe, on river banks Potskhovi, at the height of 1000 m over sea level.

Here we will visit fortress Rabat it is one big city in the city. The enormous territory of fortress Rabat differs in the difficult system of fortification constructions: there are also buildings which have remained from the Turkish domination - the mosque, the museum - where it is possible to get acquainted both with the rich past of local beauty, and with modern achievements.

Return to Tbilisi.

Day 6.

We go to the western Georgia. On the road we pass the city of Tskaltubo. In the program visit of the cave city, Prometheus's cave. Represents one of the main sights of Imereti , and the largest cave in Georgia. Adzharia the wonderful and most beautiful place from the most ancient historical regions in a southwest part of Georgia, on the coast of the Black Sea. The region attracts travelers by the warm sea, mountain landscapes, subtropical climate, excellent kitchen and the Georgian hospitality. The region violently develops, and the center of the region - Batumi, turns into the unrecognizable city with a set of magnificent structures and surprising monuments of modern architecture day by day. It is amazingly beautiful city which for a long time will remain in your hearts.

We will go to a laser show in the evening - the dancing fountains. This unforgettable show on which it is just impossible to have eyes glued. And also tourists will visit the Batumi huge metal love. Day 9.

The first that we will visit today – the Botanical Garden. It is one of the biggest and most various botanical gardens of the world. The area of a garden 144 hectares, and it consists also 9 floristic departments: East Asia, North America, South America, New Zealand, Himalayas, Mexico, Australia, Mediterranean and Caucasian humid subtropics. In a garden of 1200 species of roses, all in a garden there are 2037 species of plants. The Batumi Botanical garden has no analogs in the world as here absolutely various climatic and landscape zones coexist.

Further we will go to mountain Adjara - one of the most beautiful places on Earth, she surrounds with a mountain half ring all southwest part of Georgia. On the road you will be able to see the magnificent mountain woods, the longest river of Adjara – Adzharistskali, museum of local lore of Helvachauri, also you visit arch bridges in Makhuntseti. Today we go to Tbilisi.

Visit of one more unique natural sight of Georgia – Martvili's canyon. For many millions of years water has done in rocks from limestone the magnificent gorge, depth the reaching 40 meters at the bottom of which actually and the river flows.
